About Richard Barker

Richard Barker has been working in the construction industry as a Project Manger for over 15 years; graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Construction Management, Richard spent the next few years working for Taylor Woodrow on various projects in the public and private sectors in both building and civil engineering disciplines including a section of the Jubilee line extension at London Bridge.

Richard moved to Bovis Management to work as a project manger responsible for a multi project roll out of schemes for a leading supermarket chain. Richard then made a move to Vector Management a pure project Management Company working for British Airways FedEx and a London based rail network operator.

In 2003 Richard started his own project management company based in SW London. Since then he has worked on a number of residential refurbishment projects including the £10M project to refurbish the 16 century grade 2* Stanley House in Chelsea.
